Service: This service provides telephone conferences and correspondence with Mr. Claiborne to analyze the nature of your invention and to determine the best course of action to protect your intellectual property.
Deliverables: You will receive a written or oral opinion as to whether patenting is the best course of action for your invention. Time and effort to prepare and prosecute a patent application are not justified when it appears that a commercially valuable patent will not be obtained. Furthermore, with some technologies, early market deployment and aggressive marketing may be much more effective for exploiting the invention's advantages than awaiting the exclusive rights obtained through the sometimes lengthy patenting process.
