Service: This optional service entails a search by our office of issued U.S. patents for inventions which may be closely related to your invention.  These search results are then examined by Mr. Claiborne to determine if any of the identified patents present problems for patenting your invention.

Deliverables: You will receive a detailed written explanation of the exact search conducted and a written opinion of counsel regarding the differences and similarities between your invention and the technology revealed by the patent search.

Costs: Photocopies at our cost for copies of any patents you wish to examine.
